Sabrina + Daniel

I’ve worked on documentaries for a while now, and there are certain moments that you need to back away from and just let things happen. Moments when having a camera out and pointing in all different directions will cause people to shut down a little and contain themselves. Very rarely do you see intense moments like these on a wedding day, but Sabrina and Daniel pulled it off multiple times.

That level of trust is the foundation of how I approach Bay Area wedding photography. It isn't about the grand production or the staged perfection that often fills the industry. It's about being a professional observer of the small, sturdy details and the loud, honest laughter. When you prioritize people over poses, you get to see a day for what it actually is: a celebration of community.

We felt like lifelong friends; I laughed, and I cried (just a little). This wedding was one for the books, and we were stoked to have been a part of it.
