Are you awkward? Never been in front of a camera before? Wonderful! With an observational approach, you tell the story and I’ll simply wander around capturing the small moments that lead up to the big ones. A glance, a touch, a soft smile. The focus is less on perfection and more on connection, the more aware you are of a camera in your vicinity the less yourself you will be. In this way it is not performative, you won’t be posed or asked to PDA in front of a stranger. No overly falsified romance here; only honesty, life, and truth.

When the camera is minimized, the moments are magnified.

Dates are currently open. I’m prioritizing my documentary film stories a bit more in the coming year; I’d love to meet up prior to your wedding to record a bit about you and what your life looks like in this current stage, before moving on to the next one. As time passes I’m more and more interested in the spaces we exist in, how we customize our homes, yards, and belongings as an extension of our personality. Documenting that feels important to me.
