There are few feelings like driving through Berkeley. Somehow you’ve been transported to a movie set, even the cracks in the road look preplanned, as if someone tried to make it look a little less quaint.
Madeleine and Nick invited me along some months prior to get their marriage certificate in San Francisco City Hall, which they signed on a Friday in November at St. Mary Magdalen with a few of their closest friends. This is a story of two people, a snapshot into a day that they and a few others shared together.
